Dear St. Pius X Community,
I am thrilled to share that our Strategic Plan, a collective effort of our St. Pius X community, is well underway! Over 750 alumni, current parents, and parents of alumni participated in our recent Strategic Plan survey. We asked people to gauge the school’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and what they love about St. Pius X. We received a wealth of information that will guide us as we plan for the future. Next Monday, we will extend this opportunity to our 1,000+ students to get their input.
While surveys are invaluable, your direct engagement in a face-to-face setting is crucial. To that end, we are hosting two Strategic Plan Roundtable sessions on April 24, 2024, one from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. and one from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Please consider joining us and making your voice heard. Your hopes and dreams for St. Pius X, as well as your suggestions for improvement, will shape our future.
You may RSVP for the Roundtable sessions here. (If you cannot attend either of the sessions but would like to be involved, you can let us know through the RSVP link.)
In addition to myself and Principal Edye Simpson, our Steering Committee is comprised of engaged and committed members of our community, including:
Bonnie Chandler, Current Parent
Pat Esser, Parent of Alumni and Member of the President’s Advisory Council
Kristin Kramer ‘98, Social Studies Department Chair
Dev Maguire ‘74, Chair of the President’s Advisory Council
Jenn Prindiville, Current Parent and Member of the Archdiocesan School Advisory Council
Sara Schmitt, Director of Enrollment
Jenn Sedlack, Director of Advancement
Kim Woods, Business Manager
Faculty member Ed Lindenkugel is consulting on this project and leading our efforts. Ed, a former Catholic school Principal and Head of School is a seasoned professional who has led successful strategic plans for other Catholic entities. We are pleased to have one of our own piloting this process.
Please pray for us as we create a strategic plan that allows us to better serve our students, faculty, and families. With the help of our engaging community, I am confident that we will leave St. Pius X better than we found it.
Domini Sumus,
