The Presbytery of San Jose, a regional body of the Presbyterian Church (USA) voted on May 4, 2024 to call the Rev. Dr. Neal Presa to serve as its next Executive Presbyter. Press release at link.

Neal Presa greeted the Presbytery last Saturday with "Mabuhay! Words from my Filipino-American heritage: life be with us, life be with you."

Neal grew up in the SF Peninsula, so accepting this call is a joyful homecoming for him, he said. "I look forward to accompanying and supporting your ministry, supporting you all as we listen to what the Spirit is calling each and all of us to do and to be, with abundant gifts that God provides for God's mission in the world," he said. A Candidate Biography for Rev. Dr. Neal Presa is on p37 of the meeting docket.
