Back-to-School Information

Summer Greetings! We hope you are enjoying these final weeks of summer break! We are excited to welcome you back and look forward to a great school year. Here are some important dates and information to help you prepare for the weeks ahead.

Class Schedules

Class Schedules will be available on Wednesday, August 10, so be watching your email for a scheduling announcement. For new families, please bring a printed copy of your schedule to New Parent/Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 10. You will have the opportunity to walk your schedule and get familiar with the building.

School Supplies

Uniform Apparel and Spirit Wear

School apparel can be purchased in-store at Kids Kloset (907 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls) or online through BSN Sports, SquadLocker, and Young’s. The Student Appearance Standards are available on the SCHOOL POLICIES PAGE (found through the MY CVCA page) in the “Appearance Standards and Apparel Stores” section. Transportation

All student drivers are required to register their car in the Main Office. Parking Permits are available for $80 HERE. If you are planning to use your local school district’s bussing, please contact their transportation department directly to make arrangements. Check HERE for information about parking permits and transportation.

New Parent/Student Orientation – Wednesday, August 10

• 5:45 - 6:15 p.m. – 6th and 7th grade (new and returning) Ignition/JumpStart Meetings
• 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. – ALL new middle school and high school students

We look forward to welcoming new students and parents into the CVCA community at Orientation when we will share information about the start of the school year. Students will receive their Chromebooks, have time to walk their schedule, set up lockers, and meet other new families. There will also be opportunities to purchase apparel, meet with Athletics, and ask questions.

From 5:45 to 6:15 p.m., ALL 6th and 7th grade students and their parents will attend Ignition and Jumpstart informational meetings. New high school families will then meet at 6:30 p.m. for Orientation.
