Here are those Class FYI's that everyone needs to know
- Pre-registration is required for classes in order to reserve your seat
- Please bring your basic class kit to all classes. Basic supplies include: scissors, personal trimmer, adhesives (wet and dry), pop dots, black pen and brown ink to ink edges. Please check to see if any other items are required. We will have most of the products available for purchase.
- Payment is requested at the time of registration and this is the only way to guarantee your seat. Registrations are accepted by phone with a credit card, or in person while visiting the store.
- Most of our classes are available in kit form. There will a $2 kit fee for all classes due to the extra work involved with making the kits.
- We require that any cancellations on classes be made 48 hours prior to beginning of class time. If you will not be able to attend a class that you have paid for, you may pick up the class kit after the class, if a kit can be made. We know that things come up, but please respect that teachers have prepared for your attendance and we must still pay them if you cancel with short notice.
- With proper notification of cancellation, the cost of the class will then be credited towards store credit. Thank you for your consideration. Please note that some classes and special crops will include a no cancellations policy.
- Classes cancelled on behalf of the store will be refunded to customers.
- Instructors retain full rights to their course materials. You may not redistribute or sell any content from their classes, without their expressed written permission.
Here are those Crop FYI's that everyone needs to know:
- Please make sure to call ahead to reserve your spot for any Friday Night Crops or Saturday Night Crops. You don't want to miss out because we didn't know you were coming!
- If you have a group coming to our crops (2+ croppers), please let us know when signing up so we can reserve space for your group.
- To sign up for any classes or crops, please stop by the store or call (410-549-5187) during store hours to sign up.

When you come for a class, please be sure that you have the supplies listed with you for class. Most items can be purchased before class.

Prima Doll Nautical Album with Lillian
Saturday July 25th 1-4 PM
Join Lillian for this all new album filled with lots of unique embellishments. Lillian will be die cutting all the pieces for this amazing album. You will be coloring all the images with your Copic markers and lots of assembling. Please bring your hair and skin tone Copic markers, beacons 3 in 1 glue, glossy accents and scissors. $49

Meet Local Artist Nancy Walker
Nancy Walker, born and raised in Maryland, has spent much of her life in pursuit of various artistic challenges associated with drawing, painting, mixed media, pottery, fused glass, stained glass, and photography. She also creates detailed Mendalas using pen and ink, which have been displayed and sold in several galleries. Zentangle-like qualities have been incorporated into many of these works.
Nancy graduated with a B.A. Degree in Art - Illustration/Photography and Ceramics from Towson State University where she was the recipient of a Student Grant, completed her Honors Thesis work, and graduated from their School of Art with Honors.
Since moving to Eldersburg, MD, Nancy has taught art through the Maryland Institute of Art, the Carroll County Arts Council (CCAC), and other pottery studios. Through her home studio, she has taught various group classes and workshops over the last 20 years. Several of her students are now professional artists or are in college pursuing professional careers in art.

Page Palooza with Gina Tuesday July 28th 4-8 PM
Remember the Layouts of the Week? Well, this year we are mixing things up. Instead of 1 layout every two weeks, we are designing a bunch of layouts and you can drop in to make them here or take them to go! All kits include instructions and color photo. Gina will be on hand to answer any questions. You can make or take 1 layout or all the layouts. Cost varies per layout. $5-$12 each
If you would like to stay and make layouts, please bring your basic tool kit including your paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, brown ink and pop dots.

Join Tracy for this Heartfelt Creations card collection inspired by a vintage cottage garden bursting with exotic fuchsia blossoms in vibrant shades of pink, purple and magenta. $32

Scrapping 101 with Gina
Do you want to get started scrapbooking but don't know where or how to start? Are you overwhelmed by all the choices when you come in to shop? Do you have boxes of photos under the bed and don't know what to do next? If you need some direction and ideas for a balanced layout, this class will be a guide to get you started.
Gina will teach you all you need to know to make your first scrapbook pages. You will learn how to use tools, pick colors and how to adhere your photos safely. Please bring 4-8 photos and you will complete your first page in class. Fee $12

Wednesday August 5th 1-3 PM
Zen-Tangle - Learn the Basics
Turn drawings into artistic design, no "Artistic" talent needed. You don't have to be a perfectionist either. It can be done anywhere. Embellish scrapbooks, journals, cards. There is no end to the creativity. Zen-Tangling is relaxing and meditative. In this class, you will learn basic design concepts and patterns to create two 3"x3" trade cards. Bring a sketchbook or journal to keep class information and new patterns organized. You will receive the pen set as part of your class fee. $32
You can build on these patterns and other multimedia concepts in the more advanced future classes, Zen-Tangle 2 and Zen-Tangle 3. In these two class you will learn more patterns and create beautiful projects using stencils, stamps, pan pastels and other mixed media. It is a lot of fun and very addictive!
In future classes Nancy will teach you how to draw tangles using stencils and stamps.

At the Beach Album with Tracy
Monday August 10th 12-3 PM
Join Tracy for this all new album filled with lots of great embellishments and of course a really cool cover. You will make a lot of the shells for the cover using distress ink and embossing powder. There is a lot to the cover so we may only get the cover and inside cover done in class. There will be full instructions and you can purchase this class as a kit. $49
Please bring your paper trimmer, Distress ink in Orange Marmalade, Gathered Twigs, Frayed Burlap, Concord Grape, Salty Ocean, Distress blending tools, Beacons glue, scissors and pop dots. I do have inks to share if you don't have the colors.

Junior Scrappers Mini Album Class
Join Gina Adolph and Tori, Lisa's neice, for an all new class for kids. Your child will make an 8 x 8 summer mini album. You can bring photos if you would like or your child can add the photos at home. We will provide the glue sticks and all the supplies needed to complete this album. If your child is under 8, we would like an adult to stay during class. $20

Zen-tangles Framed with Nancy Walker
In this class, you will create a beautiful framed zentangle project. Knowledge of zentangle basics is necessary. You will use your repertoire of tangle patterns along with several patterns that will be taught. Books and other materials will be provided during class for additional inspiration. $32

* We are happy to special order anything you are looking for! If we do not have an item in stock that you desire, we can special order it for you with no extra charges or shipping fees. Most items will be in the store in a week. Don't shop online! Keep a local small business operating by supporting us with your crafting dollars.
* Do you wish you lived closer to Photo Scraps so you did not risk the latest & greatest items selling out before you get to the store? Just give us a call (410-549-5187) or reply to the store's email asking us to hold any items you would like. We are happy to accumulate a collection of goodies at our front counter for you until you can make it in. You can pre-pay if you prefer. Plan your trip to Photo Scraps when you are ready and your bag will be waiting for you. OR need the items in a hurry? UPS is just next door and we are happy to send you packages.
* If you cannot attend one of our classes but love the project, most classes (depending on techniques) are available as kits. Fee for kitting is only $2 above the class fee.
