Prayers for May 5
Prayers of Thanks and Rejoicing for...
- our co-op churches and the wonderful work they are doing.
- Lisa Chlarson’s brother, whose scan looked good. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers! He feels them for sure.
- only four more sessions of radiation! Prayers they will be effective. Grateful for this church and community, which is a great source of support. – Nic B.
- Pat Elwanger, who is recovering well from knee surgery.
- prayers from Kylee: “Dear God, thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Amen.”
Prayers of Concern for:
- unrest on college campuses and other public places that sometimes result in harm or violence.
- Donna Collier, diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, who has 2 large tumors on her left side. She's our daughter’s mother-in-law. – Kerry and Dale Smith
- strength and healing for Edith as she battles cancer, and all who fight cancer.
- Doug Myers, as he continues to be hospitalized for a serious foot infection.
- peace in the Middle East.
- Bob Bowers’ granddaughter Emily and her husband.
- Lisa Chlarson’s brother’s pending surgery.
- Millie Pluntze, who has been moved to the Gentle Care Unit of the C&R at Panorama.
- Dana Garson, who is at home but in hospice care.
- the family of Nic’s brother, Daryl, especially his wife Susan – he passed away suddenly on April 26.
- Joann Reitzwood’s friend, Leslie, whose son was diagnosed with cancer in February and is in his last days now. Leslie is in Florida with him and his wife.
- those who are lonely and in pain, who reach out to us on our church website prayer request line or by phone. Please hold them in your prayers with special tenderness, as they have nowhere else to turn.
