Hands Up!

“Hands Up” is not a sign of surrender for us when in the midst of the battle against the enemy. But on the other hand, it is quite the contrary. In this case, it is a symbol of prayer and support. (I Kings 8:54, Psalm 144:2) When Moses lowered his hands in the battle due to fatigue, Aaron and Hur interceded by holding up his hands, and the enemy was defeated. (Exodus 17:8-13) Truly, Moses was in good hands! This biblical account is a powerful allegory of the role that intercessors play in the success of a ministry. Likewise, intercessors can stand in the gap and help carry the burdens by holding up the hands of our ministers and those who lead the fight in the spiritual battles of the Church, so that the victory may be won!

The Apostle Paul stated, “Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith” (II Thessalonians 3:1-2). Even earlier, Paul had expressed, “Brethren, pray for us” in I Thessalonians 5:25. It is evident that one of a minister’s primary responsibilities is to deliver the messages that God has given. And prayer provides a covering from the attack of the enemy and other hindrances that would attempt to prohibit the Word from coming forth.

The Apostle Paul needed a helping hand and requested prayer so that the message he was carrying would have free course (go forth unhindered) in God’s full power and anointing. Paul also recognized that the enemy would try to impede progress directly through the work of wickedness and evil men, as he often faced opposition. Likewise, it is so for all ministers who have a message(s) that God has given them to relay.

Do not allow the adversary or the flesh to hinder you from praying for the ministry. If such hindrances arise, say “talk to the hand” and shun any opposition, and then get that hand up in the air with the other one, in prayer and support. If the Apostle Paul needed prayer, then surely all ministers today need it too! Let’s put our hands up in prayer and pray for the ministry greater than we have ever prayed before! Surely, “the Hand of God” will work on behalf of the ministry…and because we put our “hands up,” we will win, “hands down!”

The World Network of Prayer Presents
24/7 WATCH: A Year-Round Initiative for 24/7 Prayer

As of January 1, 2022, WNOP launched an annual 24/7 prayer and fasting chain worldwide in coordination with our existing “Year of Prayer.” Each week WNOP is posting a prayer focus as daily prayer for the entire week. Also weekly, a video is posted on the WNOP Facebook Page of a prayer leader and/or minister leading in periodic prayer. We encourage your participation by joining in prayer.

Will you commit and join with others throughout the world in united prayer and fasting? Sign up by committing in your heart unto God that you will consistently set aside a day each week to do some prayer and fasting. WNOP also has partnered with those in local churches who are already a part of a current 24-hour prayer chain. All of these hours of consecration are culminating to help provide a complete mass prayer covering over the entire Church body and to help bring greater success in all that we do in Christ! Together, let’s “watch and pray” and behold great and mighty things in the kingdom of God! Let’s prevail over the enemy with victory and declare, “Not on My Watch!”

World Needs:

  • Pray for the Lord to send rain to California as a brush fire quickly grew and spread, destroying 20 homes in the area of Orange County. The fire has grown to approximately 200 acres fueled by 30 mph winds.
  • Pray for God to bless the economy, decrease inflation, food, and gas prices, and to provide jobs to restore the trade industry.
  • Pray for Sri Lanka. This current crisis-hit country has plunged into chaos. At least 38 political leaders’ homes have been burned down and 75 other homes damaged. Violence has left 9 people dead and over 200 people injured as the current curfew is being disobeyed. The government has ordered troops to “shoot on sight” anyone found damaging state property or assaulting officials.
  • Continue to pray for all missionaries/apostolic friends, believers, children, and civilians in Ukraine and surrounding areas. It has been verified that there has been approximately 200 attacks on healthcare facilities, and Ukrainian prosecutors have started a war crimes investigation due to surveillance videos showing Russian soldiers shooting unarmed civilians.
  • Continue to pray for the Lord to strengthen the Church and protect the harvest field through the Covid-19 season. North Korea has reported its first Covid death and state media has indicated that over 350,000 have contracted Covid-19.
HOPE Prayer
POA 90 Day Prayer
For Prodigals and Those Who Love Them

NEVER has there been a greater time in prophecy as now for seeing our prayers answered. DON’T give up or be weary in well doing. WE WILL REAP IF WE FAINT NOT!

“And the Gentiles that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate; I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it” (Ezekiel 36:36, JUB)

Ezekiel 37:12 speaks of them coming out of their cold and dead situations and bringing them back home.

“Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, O my people, I open your graves and will cause you to come up out of your graves and bring you into the land of Israel” (Ezekiel 37:12, JUB).

We are speaking and calling, “COME TO LIFE,” dry bones. Come back to where you first met Jesus! Come home to the kingdom where you belong. You were never meant for Satan’s kingdom. There is only one kingdom for you. Come home! Come home! We will welcome you with the love of Jesus!

HOPE Prayer will begin again on April 1 to pray the book, Prayers For Prodigals...90 Days of Prayers For Your Prodigals by Dr. James Banks. This book is filled with scriptures from the Word of God. We will conclude on June 29.

We’re very excited and in great anticipation. Our beloved prodigals know the signs! They know the scriptures. We can be sure they are watching everything. God has spoken that His Spirit will draw them as we unite in love and prayer. The love and Spirit of God are promised and exampled through the Holy Scriptures. We know them to be faithful and true.

WE ARE ONE. Let us unite to pray, believe, and celebrate together as God answers our prayers!

As in the past, we will post daily posts on Face Book and Instagram @ HOPE2HOPE15 and Don Long and Donald Long. Contact number: 318 442 5541. Please leave a message.

We are available to speak or help launch a Hope Prayer Ministry.

Thank you!
