Christian responsibility is defined for the Christian by the Bible, the first and most important responsibility and obligation of every Christian is to PRAY as the Lord teaches us in  1 Timothy 2:1-2.  Even though God is all-powerful and all-knowing, he has chosen to let us help him change the world through our prayers.  When our lives are going along peacefully and quietly, it is easy to forget to pray. It's easier to remember to pray when we are having problems.  Don't let prayer be your last resort when all else fails. That is backwards. Prayer should come first. Pray for those in authority around the world so that God's ultimate plan and purpose for this world is fulfilled.

God's power is greater than ours; it only makes sense to rely on prayer-especially when God encourages us to do so.  I urge you to commit to your Christian responsibility and pray for each other and for our leaders in government so that God's ultimate plan and purpose for this wold is fulfilled.  Our earnest prayers will have powerful results (James 5.16).

LORD, God Almighty, we confess our sins and ask you to forgive us for our sins.  Lord we thank You for the gift of PRAYER.  You commanded us in Your Word to call upon Your name, and has declared that You hear and answer the prayers of those who make their supplications to You, we pray for our leaders in government.  Lord we ask you to deliver us from every false hope.  We take authority as responsible Christians and believe Your Word.  We decree and declare that the devil is defeated, in the name of Jesus. Amen

OUR FATHER in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
