"Shun fornication! Every sin that a person commits is outside the body; but the fornicator sins against the body itself." Satan does a good job of tricking us when it comes to sexual temptation. I don't care what the media say and how wonderful they make you think sex is---anything does not go with sex.  Sexual immorality of any kind was and still is extremely dangerous; it can lead to diseases and unwanted children.  Sexual immorality destroys family life; it even destroys your ability to love.  Going from man to man, woman to woman having casual sex will develop bad habits about what love means. If sex = love, the moment it is gone, does love leave? 

 

Iyanla Vanzant, the Fix my Life's coach called out a man, Jay Williams who fathered 34 children by 17 different women.   This is an example of the horror stories that clearly show that God's intent for sex was abused.   Sexual immorality is NOT OK; it is against God's law.  Traveling from bed to bed fathering children is not OK. God created sex to be a beautiful and essential ingredient of marriage, but sexual sin-sex outside the marriage relationship always hurts someone.  Jay Williams is hurt, the women who gave him children are hurt, and the children are hurt.  It is not fair to the children to be raised without a father in the home. 

Real happiness comes when we decide to find pleasure in the relationship God has given or will give us. Christians are to have no part in sexual sin, even if it is acceptable and popular in our culture.
