Wisdom can be Learned

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work."

(II Timothy 3:16-17)

Words of Wisdom

When we stop learning, we are dead. There is always something else to learn. In our scripture reading, we see that the whole Bible is God's inspired Word. We can learn wisdom by reading and studying the Bible. It is inspired and trustworthy; we should read it and apply it to our lives. The Bible is our standard for testing everything else that claims to be true. It is our safeguard against false teaching and our source of guidance for how we should live. It is our only source of knowledge about how we can be saved. God wants to show you what is true and equip you to live for him.

How can wisdom be learned? You can learn wisdom by spending time in the word. Read it regularly to discover God's truth and become confident in your life and faith. Develop a plan to learn wisdom, read the whole Bible.

Purity Prayer Power

LORD, God Almighty, we confess our sins and ask you to forgive us for our sins.

Grant that, through the daily reading of Your Word, that we learn wisdom. May the faith of Christ be effective to bring down our pride, to take away our selfishness, to direct and restrain our thoughts, to motivate us with the hunger to read and study Your Word. O God, bless us this day; and, not this day only, but to the end of our lives. To You, O God, who has been our support from our infancy, the help of our youth, and the guide of our advancing years, we commit ourselves to You and the reading of Your Word for the days that are to come, in Jesus name we pray. Amen

OUR FATHER in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Proverbs 4:13
