Adult Area Renovation Completed!

We are excited to announce that Phase 2 of our multi-phase renovation plan is completed! As part of the Library’s Strategic Plan, community feedback showed that residents want a modern, more functional, comfortable place to work, study, read, and congregate. To that end, the Library Board approved this latest renovation to update and modernize the adult collections and study area.

Updates included:

·        Open ceiling concept

·        Updated lighting and paint

·        New study tables and chairs with charging stations

·        Lounge area with comfortable seating, charging stations, and a fireplace

·        Two 2-person Study Rooms for quiet study with charging stations and white boards

·        New AV shelving

·        New collection signage and book display units

·        Updated, modern end panels on stacks

As with Phase I, Phase 2 renovations were supported by the library budget. Taxpayers will not see an increase in taxes to support the funding of the renovations. Thank you for your support and understanding during the renovation process. We hope you love it as much as we do!
