Thank You for a Successful 2010 Jazz Series

Thank you for a successful 2010 Jazz Series. We had a lot of fun listen to some great artists and made new friends as well as got reacquainted with old friends. The artists were very pleased with your participation, enthusiasm and wellness to purchase their music. This is what keeps the artist want to play in Winston-Salem at our venue.

I want to thank the Downtown Winston Partnership for allowing me to share with you the music that I love and keeps me balance and in a Chill Factor state of mind in a stressful world. All the sponsors without their contributions we could not have a concert series to attend (Not the City)!! I bring in new artists each year to extend our jazz vocabulary and for you to see the depth and range of this genre of music. When someone ask you about a great jazz artists Dee Lucas, Marcus Anderson, Shilts, Jackiem Joyner, Joey Sommerville, and Eric Essix just to name a few should come to mind. These are the next generation of artist that will provide us with the MME (Memorable Musical Experience) that will keep us balance throughout our lifetime, we need to take ownership of it, support it to make sure it stays here with us and flourishes.

On November 20, 2010 we have a chance to experience another great performance and a MME (Memorable Musical Experience) moment. The group 480 East with special guest Matt Marshak and Marcus Anderson will perform together in an intermit setting of the Arts Councils located at 610 Coliseum Drive. The venue is one of the best in Winston-Salem for great sound!! Tickets go on sale September 30 for more info go to www.postjazz.com.

I need you help to reach the friends, coworkers, colleges and family members that enjoy this music, lifestyle and appreciate the ambiance that jazz has to offer. I have set up a page (click on the FB link)for us to share our MME (Memorable Musical Experience) through commits, pictures and video to connect as a family. Share this information to all social media and word of mouth, Triad let's make it happen!!

Our mission is to educate and broaden our knowledge about smooth jazz and the artists performing this genre of music, and to exhibit the lifestyle and culture associated with it. Jazz covers a wide spectrum of artists out there waiting and wanting to be heard. Music plays such a significant role in our lives. Let's keep the music flowing and making footprints in our lives by supporting the artists and keeping them inspired to keep writing great music.

Thank You
