Great Pop-up Clothing Event in Bensenville

PRC partnered with Bensenville School District 2 to host its first ever Clothing Pop-up event at Tioga Elementary School in Bensenville recently! The event featured multiple tables of clothes donated by the community and PRC’s Clothes Closet. Bensenville families signed up to attend and choose items, similar to the process used at PRC’s Clothes Closet. More than 1,000 items were distributed to 229 individuals. This was a fantastic start to bringing our Clothes Closet Program out into the community. We look forward to doing this again!

Tables full of clothes were available for our neighbors to choose what they want.

Thanks to these wonderful volunteers and staff who made the Clothing Pop-Up event a great success!

Diapers and Personal Care Items Galore from the

Babies & Brews Drive

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Clarendon Hills Lions Babies & Brews Donation Drive. The final collection event happened last Saturday at The Open Door in Clarendon Hills. More than 700 pounds of diapers and personal care items were collected. Combined with your cash donations and a generous donation from The Open Door, more than $5000 was raised for PRC.

Thank you to the Clarendon Hills Lions Club for organizing a wonderful event. Thanks also to the event sponsors Hop Butcher for the World and The Open Door, and to the drop-off locations: The Birches Assisted Living, Clarendon Hills Public Library, Hamel Dental, and The Open Door. Wee are grateful for your help and support of our neighbors across

DuPage County.
