Point32Health recognized as one of the most community-minded organizations in the country

Point32Health was named to Points of Light’s The Civic 50, a list of the country’s top socially responsible organizations, for the fourth time.

The Civic 50 is the national standard for corporate citizenship and showcases how leading companies are moving social impact and community into their practices, values and core business. 

In 2023, Point32Health and the Point32Health Foundation gave nearly $15 million in grants, matching gifts, sponsorships, volunteer time, in-kind and other contributions to support nonprofit organizations in local communities. Colleagues volunteered 11,489 hours, valued by Independent Sector at nearly $460,000.

Why focus on equity in aging?

• During regional convenings and hundreds of conversations with community, leaders asked us to leverage our experience in aging to address inequities and close the gaps resulting from systemic barriers.

• Because lived experiences accumulate as we age, people of color, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ people and others who face a lifetime of inequities bear the greatest burdens, including health disparities. 

• In combining two strong foundations to form Point32Health Foundation, we followed community's lead and centered community voices.
