FROM THE CHAIR'S CHAIR
The energy of our County Democratic organization has never been higher. Everyone came together to help David Fracht win the special election in Enfield on August 15. And the margin was a sure indication that door knocking helps. Congratulations to Mascoma Forward for a job well done.
Meanwhile, the other committees in Grafton County are busy with special events. Upper Valley Dems are hosted a trivia night on August 28 and Littleton is launching "Block Power", where neighborhood teams will focus on developing lasting connections with neighbors. The annual JFK BBQ in Franconia is coming up soon on September 10.
Then on September 15 at 4:30 pm, Executive Councilor Cinde Warmington, Democratic candidate for Governor. And don't forget the Rep. Sharon Nordgren event on September 23 at 2 pm. Rep. Sharon Nordgren Event. See flyer below.
Added to the mix is a special caucus to create several new town Democratic committees, date to be announced next week.
And we at PAD are not twiddling our thumbs either. PAD is hard at work behind the scenes to increase registration of PSU students and other young voters before the January primary. If you want to help us flyer student housing in mid-September or contact high school seniors, please email me at joyce.weston@plymouthareademocrats.org. We can take back the majority in Concord — one vote at a time. Please reach out to your neighbors, family, and friends to make sure they are registered.
Shortly after that we get back to our monthly meetings: the first on 9/27 will feature gubernatorial candidate, Joyce Craig. There is a lot going on, so we hope to see you often this next month.
