Dear Partner, You have seen the news on TV and newspapers about the havoc wreaked by typhoons Pedring and Quiel on our country. Tens of thousands displaced and staying in cramped and unfit evacuation centers. Millions worth of crops and properties destroyed.
Is all hope gone? Operation Blessing will not allow it to disappear.
I come today to appeal to you for help. During the previous week, our quick response teams have ventured to flood-stricken provinces of Bulacan and Nueva Ecija. They served over 2,000 typhoon victims in four affected towns.
Almost a thousand residents availed of free doctor's checkups from our medical mission teams. Operation Blessing also provided them food and other relief goods that will tide them over the coming days. We have also mobilized a water purifying station in Nueva Ecija to make sure that potable water is available to those who would need. Seeing the great need of other towns and provinces hit by back-to-back storms, more needs to be done. But we cannot do this alone.  Can I count on you/your community/your church to support our ongoing disaster relief efforts? Your help will give us the opportunity to provide necessary aid to our kababayans as they rebuild their communities destroyed by the floods. Your partnership will help bring medical services to more evacuees, and continue providing food and drinking water to worst-hit communities.

Isaiah 58:10-11 says, "Feed the hungry and help those who are in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon."
