Lake of Bays Association Directors, the mayors of Huntsville and Lake of Bays, and Town and Township councillors will be on hand to talk about what they've been up to on your behalf, and there will be lots of time to ask questions.

Current issues are Ontario Hydro rates, Langmaid's Island, Community Planning Permit system review, environmental concerns, municipal budget, short term rentals and more.

Please join us - this meeting is open to all.

There have been numerous reports of a young, healthy, but surprisingly fearless, male moose crossing Highway 117 between Earth Park Road (sign for Yummies in a Jar) and Baysville.

Please exercise extreme caution driving along this stretch, particularly at night.

The listening session will give members of the community an opportunity to provide their perspectives on issues within the Muskoka Watershed. The Muskoka Watershed Advisory Group was established in August 2019 to provide advice and to make recommendations to the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks regarding implementation of the Muskoka Watershed Conservation and Management Initiative.
