Every day, I tell people about DAV. I tell them how they helped me. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no finer organization on the face of the earth than DAV. Because of you, DAV is here for veterans like me.

I was deployed to Vietnam in 1966. We were under a constant threat of attack. I just wanted to get through my 15 months and come home alive. And I did make it home, but not without injury and illness. I suffered a head injury that nearly cost me my eye; PTSD almost destroyed my life; and now I battle a cancer diagnosis linked to my exposure to Agent Orange. B ut I don’t have to go this alone. DAV is there for me, and I thank God they exist.

Please give me the opportunity to tell you the rest of my story and how much your support means by joining me, along with DAV leadership, on Tuesday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time . Simply dial toll-free 1-888-652-0383 .

Again, you have my deepest gratitude for all you do for injured veterans like me!

Sincerely,

Bill Trujillo
