City of Vista Planning Commission

for June 4, 2024, at 6:00 pm



NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Vista, California, will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista, California, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to receive and consider all evidence and reports presented at said hearing and/or obtained previously relative to the following matter:


P23-0216 – Skateboard Ramp – Evandro Menezes

The project applicant, Evandro Menezes, is requesting approval of a Minor Use Permit for a skateboard ramp exceeding six feet in height at an existing single-family residence located at 1264 Oak Drive (APN 173-183-45-00). The project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Section 15301 – Existing Facilities.


P23-0217 – Broadleaf Tree Wireless Telecommunications Facility - MD7 for AT&T Wireless

A request for a Special Use Permit to construct and operate a new wireless telecommunications facility consisting of twelve (12) antennas and associated equipment mounted on a new 40-foot-tall freestanding wireless tower disguised as a broadleaf tree located adjacent to the City of Vista Fire Station #2 located at 1050 Valley Drive. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines, because a Class 3 exemption consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities, or structures that would result in an insignificant expansion of the existing use.

 

P23-0399 – Tangent Inc. for Verizon – Joshua Ireys

A request for a Special Use Permit for the removal and replacement of a previously approved stealth telecommunications facility to construct and operate a new wireless telecommunications facility consisting of twelve (12) antennas and associated equipment mounted on a new 40-foot-tall freestanding wireless tower disguised as a pine tree located at 330 Mar Vista Drive. This project is exempt from environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act, in accordance with Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines, because a Class 3 exemption consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities, or structures that would result in an insignificant expansion of the existing use.
