Join over 300 runners & walkers on Wednesday, May 15th (National Employee Health & Fitness Day) at 2:00 p.m. for the 14th Annual Downtown Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk sponsored by AdvantageHealth Corporation.



A portion of the net proceeds from this race go to Appetite For Change, a Minneapolis-based non-profit.

Advantage Awareness



May is Mental Health Month, a time to raise awareness, break stigma, and prioritize our wellbeing. Let's start conversations, offer support, and prioritize self-care. Your mental health matters every month, but let's give it an extra spotlight this May.

 

Here are five things you can do to improve your mental health:



1) Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques such as meditation or deep breathing exercises.


2) Engage in regular physical activity, even if it's just a short walk or stretching session.


3) Prioritize healthy sleep habits, aiming for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night.


4) Cultivate a supportive social network by connecting with friends, family, or support groups.


5) Seek professional help if needed, whether through therapy, counseling, or psychiatric support. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
