Celebrating Our Seniors

After 13 years of school, our seniors will gather with their classmates perhaps for the last time during the commencement ceremony to receive their hard-earned high school diplomas.

While their chosen paths after high school will vary greatly, the one thing they will have in common is belonging to the Pierz Healy High School Class of 2024. Join us in congratulating and celebrating our seniors at 7pm in the MAC on May 24. Note that this is a ticketed event, and tickets can be obtained from the graduating seniors. If you can't make it in person, please join us for the live-stream on the district YouTube channel.

Their senior photos can be viewed on the Class of 2024 page on our website (and if you turn up your volume, you can also hear their class song.

Congratulations to the 95 students and their families who make up the Pierz Healy High School Class of 2024. As their class motto states:

“Chase your dreams, but always know the road that will lead you home again.” ~ Tim McGraw

Happenings at Pioneer Elementary

First graders make visits to learn about community

Part of the first-grade social studies standards included learning about community. All first graders get to visit a new place in our community on Wednesdays during the month of May. So far, our adventurous students have walked to the Pierz Food Shelf, the Pierz post office, and will be going to the public library next week.

Fourth graders team-build at Shamineau

Fourth graders traveled to Camp Shamineau on Lake Shamineau near Motley on May 8th. The students participated in four different rotations. At the low ropes course, they focused on team-building skills. For those seeking adventure above ground, the zip line offered just that. Students also played laser tag in the woods and ended the day with a nature tractor ride and campfire donuts to snack on. It was an amazing day for everyone, even the teachers (see Ms. Exted flying through the air)!
