MEET YOUR BUILDING ENGINEERS
Tell us about your work experience.
I was in the prestressed and precast concrete business for 17 years before joining Block Real Estate Services. I began my career with the Pine Ridge team in January 2013 as an engineer and was quickly promoted to Chief Engineer. I now oversee all aspects of Pine Ridge Business Park maintenance and engineering including the maintenance staff.

When you are not at work you are probably... spending time with my wife, Christine, and working on projects at home, but I enjoy fishing and collecting gemstones in my spare time.

I also have a passion for carpentry. My carpentry projects range from creating small trinkets to cabinets, tables and other furniture pieces.

If you could do any job in the world...
I would want to farm for a living. I have a true appreciation for the outdoors and would take pride in being self-sustainable.

MILLIONS OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS RECALLED
Kidde has recalled more than 40 million fire extinguishers used in homes, vehicles, and boats because they can become clogged or fail to discharge during a fire. The recall includes models manufactured as far back as 1973 and as recently as August 2017. All the units have a plastic handle or plastic push button. The plastic handles and buttons can break or detach when force is applied.
To find a full list of recalled units, visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission
website. Free replacements can be requested from Kiddie at (855) 271-0773.

For questions you can also contact the Lenexa Fire Department Prevention Division at (913) 888-6380.
