Congratulations to the winners of NCP's Haiku Newton competition:

Haiku Newton brings poetry into people’s everyday lives. This year, the 22 winning poems include those by students, Newton neighbors, friends, and poets from halfway around the globe, representing work of established and first time writers alike.
You can currently see the winning haikus on display on signs outside the Newton Free Library, the Boys and Girls Club, at Austin Street Plaza, and at Trio. In mid-May, some of the signs will be moved to the First Baptist Church, Little Luke’s Café, and the Suzuki School.
