ZC&R Coatings for Optics (ZC&R), a division of Abrisa Technologies, has over 20 years of design and volume manufacturing experience for high performance thin film coating solutions for Night Vision Imaging (NVIS) and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) compatible lighting and displays.

We collaborate with customers to tailor NVIS coating solutions to meet the performance defined by MIL-STD-3009 when mated to THEIR chosen light emitter and display. Our thin film engineers will define the coating specs needed for the integrated assembly to meet the NVG compatibility limits on red and NIR radiance limits, cut-off and slope requirements with industry leading high throughput performance.

Precision Thin Film Optical Coating Solutions

Our expertise in photonics enabled applications and design capability in thin film coatings and technology glass combined with our volume manufacturing experience, makes us uniquely positioned to offer technical solutions and economies of scale not available from other glass or coating sources.

Custom designed and standard coatings are available for use from 200nm in the UV up to 20 microns in the far infrared, with thicknesses of a few angstroms to 10’s of microns. We use advanced Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes including sputtering and Ion Assisted Deposition (IAD) e-beam to deposit coatings on a variety of materials including fabricated and polished glass, HIE™ aluminosilicates, wafers, ceramics, crystalline quartz, filter glass, IR materials, polished metals, and other materials of our and customer furnished supply.
