THIS SUNDAY: Is Student Ministries Sunday! Once a year, we set apart a Sunday in June to honor the next generation. Student Ministries Pastor Nacho Barrera will bring the message titled "His Faithfulness," and a few of our youth will share their testimonies!

BELONG: The Journey - The focus of BELONG this Sunday is “The Holy Spirit." Learn how Jesus’ disciples interacted with the Holy Spirit and how we relate to the Spirit today! Join us at 9:30 a.m. in the BELONG Room.

SONGS: House Of The Lord, Throne Room Song, Living Sacrifice, I Surrender All

DETAILS: Some of our High School students will serve on the Worship Team this Sunday, while others from EDGE 56, EDGE 78, and High School will serve as our greeters and ushers for the morning!

In addition, the EDGE 78 K-teams and the High School summer mission teams will be commissioned during the service.

You can learn more about Student Ministries at Petra and how you can get involved by visiting the tables in the Atrium this Sunday. If you’re a student who's interested but has not yet connected, come and meet the leaders and some of your peers! If you're an adult who would like to volunteer with Student Ministries, we'd love to connect with you!

After the 11 a.m. service, join us for a traditional Amish Turkey Dinner fundraiser meal! All proceeds will go towards the High School Students' Summer Mission Trips. Take-outs will be available after the 9 a.m. service.

Child Dedication

Our next Child Dedication is coming up on Sunday, June 30! If you want to dedicate your child or children to the Lord, please register them below by tomorrow!

Local Missions Festival

Petra’s core value of Sharing Jesus and Serving Others is demonstrated not only globally but also locally right here in our community! This year’s Local Missions Festival is on Sunday, June 30. Over 15 LOCAL ministries whom Petra partners with will be represented all morning throughout the Lobby and Atrium. Plan now to check out their display tables and find out how YOU are empowered to partner with what God is doing beyond our four walls!

New Holland Fireworks

Plan to spend your evening here at Petra Church on Friday, July 5, for the New Holland Fireworks! At 7:30 p.m., our fields will be open to the community. Food and Drinks will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks, including Castañeda’s, Nice Size Fries, Noel's Café, and Lickity Split Ice Cream. 10% of the proceeds from the Food Truck sales will go towards Petra's Food Bank to help feed those in our community who are in need. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and yard games for a fun evening together! The fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m.

24-Day Devotional

If you want to stay connected to God’s Word while you’re on the go this summer, you can sign up to receive 24 days of devotions!

Exodus, a devotional written by Pastor Brian Flewelling, is about the Israelites journey out of slavery and into the Holy. Our hope is that these devotionals inspire a deeper love for the Lord and his Word that captures his wonders!

The 24-day devotional will begin Monday, July 8, and will be sent daily through July 31. You can sign up below to receive these daily devotions by email. A few printed copies will be available at the Resource Hub next Sunday, June 30. This devotional ties in with our Fall theme, and we know it'll be an encouragement to you this summer!

Outdoor Water Baptism

Are you ready to take the next step in your spiritual walk? If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior but have not yet been water-baptized, you can do that on Sunday, July 21, at 8 p.m. at the New Holland Pool. Register below or at the Resource Hub on a Sunday and plan to attend the Baptism Class on Sunday, July 7, at 9 a.m. or Sunday, July 14, at 11 a.m.

Missionary Prayer Focus

Marta Estrada is a Petra missionary, serving with Restoration of the Nations. This ministry seeks to bring freedom and healing to women in addiction throughout the world. Please pray for God’s protection, wisdom, health, and provision over her as she serves in her calling!

HOPEWELL NETWORK

Hopewell Junior High Camp

The second 2024 Hopewell Summer Camp is the Junior High Camp for students who have just finished grades 6 through 8. It will take place at Tel Hai from July 15-19. Pick up a brochure and application from the Resource Hub or see below for additional information. Scholarship assistance for Petra families is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check with Pastor Nacho about assistance for the Junior High Camp.
