A Village Medical Assistant clinic, VMA, is sponsored by ORH through willing missionaries. ORH provides funds to the missionaries to conduct the clinics with people from the country. This builds medical teams in the countries which are great blessings.
Below is a report from Buddy Fitzgerald of the latest VMA clinic.

"We travelled to the site with the intention to be a help to a new church plant: Maranatha Baptist Church. We held a pre-clinic evangelistic meeting with about 200 present. The Gospel was shared, along with our reason for visiting, and clinic instructions.
We also held a service (the second evening) in the church's building, with members and others.
We brought 3 dentists from other parts of Peru, and approx. 15 church members. Our evangelistic team, along with the local pastor, saw dozens of professions of faith. We have passed the contacts along to the local pastor.
Discovered Needs: The local Pastor, Max, is doing a good job, but needs more training. We are putting resources into his hands and providing him material for the church. The village has around 3000 inhabitants. Many of them speak Quechua.
There is a small government health outpost, but they lack personnel and medicines. We were nearly overrun but were able to kindly and graciously serve over 400 patients.
Special Consideration: _The pastor also asked for material for his youth leader. We have pointed them to some free online Bible courses, and plan to send folks to help at a later date. We would definitely be interested in more clinics in this location."
ORH is thankful to partner with Buddy to do these marvelous clinics. Through your giving, ORH was able to provide $1700. We hope many more will occur so Buddy may relieve suffering and reach many more souls. The motto of ORH, "Touching the Heart...Reaching the Soul" is always true.
