Dear Supporter-
Thanks to all the amazing response from so many of you to our announcement last week that People of Hope Crafts will be closing our doors on Sept. 30 due to consistently decreasing sales over the past 4 years. It has been a hard decision to terminate this part of our work. We have been supporting artisans in El Salvador for 25 years.
In an effort to move our inventory and generate more funding for our community development projects in El Salvador, we will be holding a CLOSEOUT SALE at our office at 3955 Irving St. this coming Saturday, September 22, 9 am-2 pm.
Beautiful handmade jewelry, wooden household items & religious items, assorted bags, children's gifts--will be MARKED DOWN 10% or more. SOME ITEMS ARE 60% OFF. We will not refuse any reasonable offer. Come on by and get your holiday shopping done early.
Thankfully, the community development work that we have been supporting since 1986 continues stronger than ever. All sales will go directly to support our work in El Salvador. We hope that you will check out the incredible projects we have the honor of supporting on behalf of our donors including: microlending, community organizing, scholarships, youth development, and nutrition & health support. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, 98% of donations go directly to support these projects in El Salvador! You can learn more about our work at: www.projectsalvador.org.
Thank you for your support of our work over the years. We look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come as we journey with the Salvadoran people in implementing their own vision of justice!
In Solidarity,
