They have summarised the parties finalised policies on: Climate and energy, Nature and environment, Homes and transport and Justice and democracy. SUNDAY SERVICE

SUNDAY SERVICE at 10am

On Sunday 7th July, worship begins at 10.00 am at Pembury Baptist Church with sung worship, prayer, and Pastor Dan continuing the Fruit of the Spirit series, speaking of the goodness of God. Everyone is welcome!


This Sunday, there are refreshments after the service. See below for information on children's Sunday groups.

ARK and DEEPER

ARK

For school years Reception to Year 6 in term time, Ark moves to the Church Hall as the children leave the main Sunday service after around 30 minutes for age relevant games, Bible teaching and refreshments. Parents remain in the Church.


DEEPER

For school years 7 and above in term time, Deeper moves into the Youth Hut after the start of the Church service to look at the Bible in a relevant way for them and also includes games and refreshments.


All leaders and volunteers are DBS checked and health and safety requirements are met.

TIMES OF PRAYER

Prayer

We hold various gatherings for prayer at Pembury Baptist Church. All are welcome.


SUNDAY MORNING

We meet at 9.30am in the Church Hall Lounge for prayer before the service


MONDAY MORNING

Daph and Jean meet every Monday for an hour of prayer (not Bank Holiday) and will pray for, or with, anyone confidentially. If this would be helpful for you, please contact Daph by emailing dbeard130@gmail.com


TUESDAY EVENING

Tuesday Prayer starts at 8pm every Tuesday (except when a Church Meeting) on Zoom. For more details, please contact the Church Office on office@pemburybaptistchurch.org


WEDNESDAY EVENING

Seeking His Face is a quiet prayer meeting, an open space in the Church from 6.15-7pm Wednesdays.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Tuesday Club

TUESDAY CLUB

Tuesday Club opens on Tuesdays from 10.00am-12.30pm. Crosswords, puzzles, games and a short talk are followed by soup, dessert and refreshments are served at midday for £3. Don't hesitate to call for more information on 01892 825590.

Little Rascals

LITTLE RASCALS

Little Rascals opens Wednesdays in term time from 10-11.45am for 0-4 year olds with their parents, grandparents and carers, £2 per family. For more information email or call 01892 825590.

Bubbles

BUBBLES SENSORY EXPERIENCE

Bubbles is a sensory experience event for 0-3yrs, held weekly on Thursdays in the Creche (building behind the church) from 10am-11.30am. Do come along and introduce yourself and your child/ren to Nichola, our Children and Youth Worker. Enjoy! More information from nichola@pemburybaptistchurch.org

Kingdom Cafe

KINGDOM CAFE

Kingdom Cafe is open on Thursdays and Fridays between 10am and 4.30pm for a relaxing lunch, chat, cuppa, a quiet corner, whatever you come for, all free in a friendly atmosphere. Donations are accepted if you want to give.

Blend Youth Cafe

BLEND

Blend is a youth cafe for school years 7 to 10 open on Fridays during term time between 4pm-6pm. All leaders are DBS checked. There are games, tuck shop and much more. For more information, please call 01892 825590.

Pembury Community Larder

PEMBURY COMMUNITY LARDER

The Community Larder issues food parcels to those in need or those who are referred to us by various authorities. Please refer anyone you know who needs help at this time and has little money or other resources.

PEMBURY MEMORY CAFE - Friday 19th July - 2pm-4pm

PEMBURY MEMORY CAFE

Pembury Memory Cafe is on the 3rd Friday of every month at 2pm in the Church Hall, specifically for those with dementia, Alzheimers, and other cognizant problems, offering activities, music, puzzles and refreshments for both sufferers and carers. The next Memory Cafe is Friday 21st June. Do just come along or contact the Church Office for more details on 01892 825590 or email office@pemburybaptistchurch.org
