SERVICES
CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICES
CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION - Friday 24th December - 11.30pm
There is a short reflective communion service on Friday 24th December in the Church.
CHRISTMAS DAY CELEBRATION - Saturday 25th December 10.00am
There is an all age service on Christmas Day, Saturday 25th December in the Church to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Son of God. You will be able to watch this online (here) if you are unable to attend.
BOXING DAY - SUNDAY WORSHIP
SUNDAY SERVICE at 10am
On Boxing Day, Sunday 26th December, there will be a reflective service at 10am, led by Daph Beard. PLEASE NOTE: This Sunday's service will not be online. All are welcome.

We'd love to see you and meet you in Church. There are COVID restrictions in place. Masks are required and you will be asked to sanitise your hands on entry and keep respectful distances, being sensitive to others.

ARK and DEEPER will return in January 2022
ARK
For school years Reception to Year 6, Ark moves to the Church Hall as the children leave the main Sunday service after around 20 minutes for age relevant games, Bible teaching and refreshments. Parents remain in the Church.

DEEPER
For school years 7 and above, Deeper moves into the Youth Hut after the start of the Church service to look at the Bible in a relevant way for them and also includes games and refreshments.

All leaders and volunteers are DBS checked and health and safety requirements are met.

CAROL SINGING AT TESCO - £113.72 raised for ASPEN
CAROL SINGING AT TESCO
Thank you to all those who sung their hearts out at Tesco last Thursday! The carol singing raised £113.72 for Aspen (Pepenbury) and they send their thanks to all. They also said 'Thank you also for helping to raise awareness of Aspens and the amazing people we support, something which is invaluable to us as a charity.'

We have a dedicated Prayer Line at Pembury Baptist Church - please text 07564 768616 for prayer. You don't need to go into details if you don't want to, we will simply pray for you at our regular prayer times.
Prayer Events
We hold various gatherings for prayer at Pembury Baptist Church. All are welcome.

SUNDAY MORNING PRE-MORNING WORSHIP
We meet at 9.30am in the Church Hall for prayer before the service, to bring all the events and people in that service to the Lord.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYER
Daph and Jean meet every Monday for an hour of prayer at the church, occasionally on Zoom, except for Bank Holidays. They will pray for, or with, anyone confidentially. If this would be helpful for you, please contact Daph by emailing dbeard130@gmail.com.

TUESDAY PRAYER - TODAY THIS WILL BE A ZOOM MEETING
Tuesday Prayer starts at 8pm every Tuesday (except when a Church Meeting). On the 1st and 3rd Tuesday usually, the meeting is held in the Church Foyer at the Church. All others are on Zoom. If you would like more details, please contact the Church Office. After tonight, the Tuesday Prayer meeting will return on Tuesday 4th January.

WEDNESDAY PRAYER - SEEKING HIS FACE RETURNS IN THE NEW YEAR (5th January)
Seeking His Face is a less structured prayer meeting, held in the Church from 6.15-7pm every Wednesday. This Wednesday is the last meeting before Christmas. Seeking His Face will return on Wednesday 5th January 2022.

HOPE PEMBURY ECUMENICAL PRAYER - THIS WEEK
Hope Pembury Prayer is monthly from 9-9.30am at alternate churches. The 2022 dates are 19th January at St Anselm's and 23rd February at Hospice in the Weald.

Tuesday Club
TUESDAY CLUB
Tuesday Club reopens on Tuesdays from 10.00am-12.30pm after Christmas. Sandwiches, cake and refreshments are served at midday. Don't hesitate to call for more information on 01892 825590 or email to office@pemburybaptistchurch.org. Tuesday Club will return on 4th January 2022.
Little Rascals
LITTLE RASCALS
Little Rascals will reopen Wednesdays in term time from 10-11.45am after Christmas for 0-4 year olds with their parents, grandparents and carers. For more information email office@pemburybaptistchurch.org or call 01892 825590. Little Rascals will return on Wednesday 12th January 2022.
Kingdom Cafe
KINGDOM CAFE - THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS 9am-4.00pm
Kingdom Cafe will reopen weekly on Thursdays and Fridays between 9am-4.00pm after Christmas. You'll find hot and cold drinks, delicious home made cakes, hot buttered crumpets and light lunches as well as a great welcome. The format is as before, no fixed prices and an opportunity to donate to a charity or organisation. Kingdom Cafe returns 6th and 7th January 2022.
Blend Youth Cafe
BLEND POP UP YOUTH CAFE - FRIDAYS 4pm-6pm
Blend, a youth cafe for school years 7 to 10 opens on Fridays during term time between 4pm-6pm . All leaders are DBS checked. It is the last before Christmas this Friday. There are games, milkshakes and cakes, quiet space and much more, all for £1 per person. If your young person would like to attend, please book them in on office@pemburybaptistchurch.org or by calling 01892 825590. Blend returns on Friday 7th January 2022.
Pembury Community Larder and Hub
PEMBURY COMMUNITY LARDER
The Community Larder continues to issue food parcels to those in need or those who are referred to us by various authorities. Please refer anyone you know who needs help at this time and has no money or other resources.
THE PEMBURY HUB
Pembury Baptist Church continues to be the support hub for the local area. If you need help with food shopping and delivery, prescriptions, letters posted or other necessary items, contact Pembury Hub on the details below.
