Club Clean-up Day & Thank You BBQ, Sunday 5 August
|
|
The Club Clean-up Day is this Sunday, 5 August, from 11:00. Please come along and help tidy up the ground for the new season. Many hands make light work, so please encourage your friends and family to come along too. The type of jobs will include a general tidy-up of the ground, including weeding, rubbish collecting, etc. If you have gardening gloves and tools, please bring them on the day.
As a small thank you for your help, there will be a BBQ and a drink for everyone who lends a hand. So that we have an idea of numbers for catering, if you are able to come along please email
janine@edinburghaccies.com and let her know.

Will Stephen (aka Cheese) is running the New York Marathon in November in memory of his godmother Jane Burn, who lost her battle with the disease shortly before Christmas. Will is running in aid of
Pancreatic Cancer UK through The Three Bears Foundation.
Jane's son, Chris, set up The Three Bears Foundation in his mother's memory, to raise money and awareness of pancreatic cancer and with the aim of completing a series of events, culminating in the New York Marathon.
It is one of the aims of The Three Bears Foundation to aid in the research and understanding of this devastating disease and specifically to help to find a way to reach an early diagnosis. As with all cancers, early diagnosis can make a crucial difference.
If you would like to support Will's efforts, please click the link below.
