Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity initiative that empowers women around the world to positively impact lives in their communities.

File Senior Homestead Exemption!

Qualifying Peachtree City homeowners must be 65 or older by January 1st. They must also have filed for the Fayette County Standard Homestead Exemption. The homeowner's household income cannot exceed a federal adjusted gross income of $30,000. Peachtree City's Senior Homestead Exemption is $5,000 of the home's net assessed value.


To file your Senior Homestead Exemption by April 1st, download the form here. You can deliver the completed form, along with proof of age and income (a copy of your prior year's tax returns), to City Hall. City Hall is not open on Saturday, so make a plan to return your exemption by Friday, March 31st!

SPLOST 2023 Election Summary Report

Fayette County voters voted to renew the 2017 SPLOST with an approximately 74% majority. Keep track of our progress on all SPLOST projects on our website: https://peachtree-city.org/1117/SPLOST.


Clayton State University Comes to Peachtree City

McIntosh High School seniors, did you know you can work on a degree in nursing while staying in Peachtree City?


Clayton State University offers classes at the Center for Innovation. That's the former Booth Middle School.

Save the Date: New Village Green Disc Golf Course

This last week, Village Green Disc Golf Course closed for a couple of days to begin the installation of a new course! Now, we are preparing to unveil it.


Mark your calendars: on Saturday, April 15th. Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events will be hosting the Grand Opening of a new Village Green Disc Golf Course! More details to come in the newsletter and on social media!

Support a Blood Drive in Peachtree City!

There are several opportunities to donate blood in Peachtree City next week!


Holy Trinity Catholic Church will host an American Red Cross blood drive on Monday, April 3, 2023. Flatcreek Country Club will host a drive that same day from 10 AM to 3 PM. On Tuesday, April 4, Glenloch Recreation Complex hosts a blood drive too, from 9 AM to 2 PM. Schedule your appointment here!

You may be eligible for financial assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration.


Fayette County, including Peachtree City, is part of the declared disaster area impacted by the severe weather that brought tornados and straight-line winds through Georgia on January 12, 2023.

Run for the Gold 5K at Oak Grove Elementary

Lace up your shoes for a great evening of running in Peachtree City’s quiet neighborhoods and paths.


Oak Grove Elementary hosts its Nineteenth Annual Run for the Gold 5K Run and 1 mile Fun Run. It will take place Friday, April 21st. The fun run starts at 6PM and the 5K race begins at 6:15.


Registration is $25.00 per participant. Register by March 31st and get a t-shirt!
