Peachtree City Unveils New Mission Statement

We're excited to share with you the highlights of our recent retreat with the mayor, city council, and staff of Peachtree City. During the retreat, we took the time to reflect on our city's mission and values, and to come up with a new mission statement that reflects our commitment to excellence.
We're proud to unveil our new mission statement: "uncompromised excellence."
This statement represents our unwavering dedication to always striving for the best and never settling for mediocrity. We believe that by embracing this philosophy, we can continue to make Peachtree City an outstanding community for all its residents. There will be more information on this vision and what it means shared in the coming months.

Exciting news for McIntosh High School soccer fans!
The United Soccer Coaches voted the McIntosh High School Boys Soccer team as the nation's number 1 team for the second straight week! Congratulations to the players, coaches, and everyone involved in the team for this well-deserved recognition. Your hard work, dedication, and exceptional skills have earned you this impressive achievement.
Keep up the fantastic work, and we look forward to seeing you continue to dominate the field!

Congratulations, Kavanagh Porter Academy! | |
Congratulations to the amazing dancers from Kavanagh Porter Academy USA, here in Peachtree City, for making it to the CLRG World Championships 2023 in Montréal! To all the dancers, coaches, and supporters, we wish you the best of luck and success on the big stage.

Drake Field Upcoming Closure | |
The Drake Field parking lot will be closed on the following dates and times for filming:
- Tuesday, April 4th until 5:30 PM
- Wednesday, April 5th all day
- Monday, April 17th until 1 PM
The Luther Glass Three Ponds parking lot will also be closed on Monday, April 17 from 1 PM to 7:30 PM.
Both Drake Field and Luther Glass park will remain open during filming.

Save the Date: New Village Green Disc Golf Course | |
This last week, Village Green Disc Golf Course closed for a couple of days to begin the installation of a new course! Now, we are preparing to unveil it.
Mark your calendars: on Saturday, April 15th, Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events will be hosting the Grand Opening of a new Village Green Disc Golf Course! More details to come in the newsletter and on social media!

Support a Blood Drive in Peachtree City! | |
There are several opportunities to donate blood in Peachtree City next week!
Holy Trinity Catholic Church will host an American Red Cross blood drive today from 12 to 6 PM. Flatcreek Country Club is also hosting a drive today from 10 AM to 3 PM. Tomorrow, April 4, Glenloch Recreation Complex hosts a blood drive too, from 9 AM to 2 PM. Schedule your appointment here!

Run for the Gold 5K at Oak Grove Elementary | |
Lace up your shoes for a great evening of running in Peachtree City’s quiet neighborhoods and paths.
Oak Grove Elementary hosts its Nineteenth Annual Run for the Gold 5K Run and 1 mile Fun Run. It will take place Friday, April 21st. The fun run starts at 6PM and the 5K race begins at 6:15.
Registration is $25.00 per participant. Register by March 31st and get a t-shirt!
