Our fire department received a statewide award, the city council voted on a new employee compensation plan, and we're looking into the possibility of a millage rate decrease. Stay informed and engaged with your community!

New Employee Compensation Plan Makes News

Last week, Tom Jones at WSB-TV shared the impact our city's new employee compensation plan will have on our police, firefighters and EMTs, and how they're reacting to Thursday night's vote.


This is a significant step in the right direction. It brings positive changes to the pay and benefits of all employees. We recognize all their hard work and dedication towards building a stronger and more vibrant community.

Look Inside Peachtree City's Literary Anthology

"Hip Pocket" is an anthology of works written by Peachtree City residents, and published by the Peachtree City Library.


This incredible collection features a diverse range of pieces, all beautifully crafted and thought-provoking in their own unique way. Now, there's a video that tells the story of "Hip Pocket" and its contributors, offering an inside look at the creative process and the inspiration behind these amazing works.

Village Green Disc Golf Course Closed in Preparation for Grand Opening

Village Green Disc Golf Course is closed to install new equipment. We will update when it is open for play again! Please join us for the Grand Opening Ceremony on Saturday, April 15 from 10 AM to 12 PM!

Disc Golf Course Grand Opening!

The Village Green Disc Golf Course is gearing up for its Grand Opening, which will reveal a brand new course!


You're invited to join us on Saturday, April 15th Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events from 10 AM to 12 PM. The address to the Village Green is 204 Willowbend Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Parking is available at First Presbyterian Church and City Hall!

Drake Field Upcoming Closure

The Drake Field parking lot will be closed on Monday, April 17th until 1 PM

for filming.


The Luther Glass Three Ponds parking lot will also be closed on Monday, April 17 from 1 PM to 7:30 PM.


Both Drake Field and Luther Glass park will remain open during filming.
