Peace, Joy & Comfort in your Garden

It is so nice to be out in the garden! Some say, "working", I say "respite"! The feel of the soil between my fingers, the smell of fresh mulch, the view of an area I think I'm finished with, until I see another flower I need to add! It's all so gratifying!
There are so many pretty flowers, cool bushes and now, even the trees are in bloom! I just love seeing all the combinations of plants in displays and container gardens.

Thursday I treated myself to a walk through our Rose House here at Countryside (Greenhouse #17). BREATHTAKING! One rose bush after another bursting with beautiful blooms and the fragrance, even through my mask was intense and delightful. There is a rose bush for every garden whether to stand alone as a focal point in a sunny garden, to climb a trellis or arbor, to cascade over a rock wall! Some are profuse bloomers with several flowers and others have long stems with an incredible single bloom! They make me feel so happy! And yes, I'm adding another one to my sunny garden!

Any time is a good time to plant a tree! Why not add spring time blooms to your landscape with a spring blooming Redbud, Weeping Cherry or decorative Pear!

Here are some things to consider when walking through your yard:
Focal Points; do I have plants, flowers, or statuary that draws my eye to different locations throughout my yard?
Is there movement? A decorative or whimsical spinner is an easy fix.
Could you use the tranquil sound of water?
Let our landscape Department design a pond, pondless waterfall or fountain feature for you!
