Christmas Stroll - “A Bridge to Bethlehem” is coming up on Saturday, December 2nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m.! Come stroll our grounds to see the Live Nativity with live animals, enjoy cocoa and homebaked cookies, listen to live seasonal music in the sanctuary, enjoy dinner provided by BELONG (Bridging Everyone Linking Older and Newer Generations) in the Fellowship Hall, and more! All are welcome so bring a friend! FREE to the public. (Please bring one donation of a toiletry item or cold weather gear for WARM. We will also be selling Christmas items, and all proceeds with be donated to local ministries to support our neighbors in need.) Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

VOLUNTEERS needed! Are you a chili-making aficionado? How about a cookie baker extraordinaire? Maybe performing music is your jam? Or perhaps decorating is all you? Or are you more of a "everything has its place" clean up expert? Whatever your strong-suit, WE NEED YOU! The Christmas Stroll needs musicians! Would you like to perform a Christmas song or two during the Christmas Stroll? (Also, ALL are welcome to join our Sing-a-long beginning at 6:15 p.m.!

Donations of new or "like new" Christmas or gift items are being accepted to support the Christmas Stroll. Cleaning out your gift closet or reducing your Christmas decorations? Please drop off donation items in the Narthex by Friday, December 1st. Contact: Rachel Portillo. Christmas Stroll attendees can "shop" at the display and all proceeds will be donated to The Mission.

The Fellowship Community Advent Devotional 2023. Advent begins on Sunday, December 3rd this year. This is a season of anticipation and preparation, calling us to slow down and reflect on the meaning of Christ’s Incarnation as “God with Us.” (Printed copies available upon request from the church office.)

Ladies, you're invited to join us on Thursday, December 7th for our annual Christmas Ornament & Cookie Exchange at 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Patuxent Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Bring a new, wrapped Christmas ornament to exchange! We will play a NEW game this year (no stealing involved!!!) and later you will end up with a different ornament for your tree at home! For the cookie swap, bring 2-3 dozen of your favorite cookies! (Optional - don’t feel you have to bake if that’s not your thing, but please DO bring an ornament!) Mission Outreach: Please bring socks, mittens, scarves, or hats that will be distributed to WARM guests and the Three Oaks Shelter. RSVP by Thursday, November 30th by signing up in the Narthex or calling the church office at: 301-863-2033.

On Sunday, December 17th at 9:30 a.m., all are invited to attend the annual Christmas Cantata at Patuxent Presbyterian Church; this year’s performance will be CAROLS arranged by Heather Sorenson. A versatile, unique musical cantata for the Christmas season, this one-of-a-kind carol compilation is designed to encourage participation in the Christmas worship experience. Under the direction of Music Director Maureen Wysham of Patuxent Presbyterian Church, the choir will perform this lovely cantata and share Scripture readings, and the congregation will lift their voices in songs of praise and worship.

IF:PATUXENT is a ministry for women. Ladies, please plan on joining us for the amazing IF:Gathering livestream event on February 23rd (7:00-9:00 p.m.) and 24th (10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) at our church.

Gentlemen, we really need helpers to assist our Volunteer Lead, John Dixon, to set up and clean up food (the Continental breakfast, the boxed lunches, and dessert table) and the coffee bar/drinks throughout the day on Saturday, February 24th.
