ST. LUKE'S 5TH GRADE HARMONIZES WITH MR. D: LEARNING MUSIC THEORY & NOTATION

St. Luke's 5th grade enjoys music with Mr. D! They recently worked on music theory sheets to help them learn how to read music notations and phrases needed to make and play a song.

ST. LUKE'S STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN YOUTH LEADERSHIP CLASSES

St. Luke's has four students participating in the Youth Leadership Mobile Class of 2025: Cooper Matthews, Mat Foster, Sophie Dolbear, and Raina Gupta.

Youth Leadership Mobile is a nine-month program introducing rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to servant leadership practices, leaders in the business, non-profit and government sectors, and multiple opportunities for service to the community. The class itself culminates with each student presenting their individual projects for the betterment of Mobile. Because part of Mobile United’s mission is rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion we are very intentional about bringing students from a variety of schools- i.e. public, state and private- together so they can get to know one another, while creating connections and breaking down barriers as they simultaneously serve.
