OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT ST. LUKE'S
& PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
Did you know there are multiple ways to support St. Luke's and promote your business? There are opportunities for scorecard signage for football, soccer, and baseball, as well as banners and gym signs for basketball and volleyball. Sponsorship opportunities range from $300-2,500 based on visibility. Customized opportunities are also available.

BACK TO SCHOOL 2024-2025: A NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS!
St. Luke's Faculty and Staff gathered for our annual back-to-school chapel, where we prayed for a successful and fulfilling school year ahead.
| Mrs. Wallace and her Key Club organized an outstanding event to welcome new students to the University Campus. Key Club members enthusiastically greeted the new faces, assisted new students in navigating their school schedules, and even helped unlock their lockers! | |
The Japonica Campus Meet and Greet was bursting with excitement as students met their teachers and explored their classrooms. | The seniors’ are back to school and ready to rule! They celebrated their last first day and began to look forward to their busy senior year! And yes, it's too early for senioritis! | The 6th graders were treated like celebrities as they were welcomed to the University Campus! They are off to a great start on the BIG campus! | |
The 9th grade entered the gates as a symbol for entering high school. They will not walk through these gates again until their graduation day in 2028. They are ready to make their first year in high school amazing! | |
The Japonica Campus had a great first day based on all of the smiles and hugs. They certainly looked ready to learn and grow! | |
MINI FOOTBALL CAMP FOR JAPONICA STUDENTS
Our Japonica Campus students had an incredible experience at Coach Gilmore’s mini-football camp. Coach Gilmore, with his infectious passion for the sport, was more than excited to meet the future stars of St. Luke’s football! Our young Wildcats are already looking forward to the next opportunity to learn from Coach Gilmore and his team. The future of St. Luke’s football certainly looks bright with these young athletes ready to achieve their dreams!

FACULTY AND STAFF BACK TO SCHOOL TRIVIA NIGHT
Before the start of the school year, St. Luke’s faculty and staff gathered for an evening filled with camaraderie and competition for Trivia Night. This was the perfect opportunity for everyone to unwind, bond, and enjoy friendly rivalry before diving into the busy school year. “It’s a Matter of Principal,” comprised of our lower and upper school directors, took home the bragging rights!

FACIAL FEATURES: K2 LEARNS MORE ABOUT THEIR EYES
K2 students are learning about the location and function of facial features. During STEM+M class, they explored a selection of instruments to experience how they affect their sight.
Here, Mrs. Morrow helps K2 students look through the spectrometer to show them the beautiful spectrum of colors that make up light.... a rainbow!

K5-5th GRADE: FIRST CHAPEL OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
K5-5th grade gathered for their first chapel this week. Rev. Mary Alice excitedly welcomed everyone back and spoke about the importance of our weekly gatherings and outlined what the students could expect during our chapel sessions.

ST. LUKE'S BOOSTER CLUB PEP RALLY
St. Luke’s Booster Club hosted a spirited pep rally to launch the fall sports season. The gym was filled with enthusiastic students, parents, and faculty members, all eager to celebrate and support St. Luke’s athletic teams! The pep rally featured performances by the cheerleaders and the introduction of the fall sports teams. Thank you to our booster club for their unwavering dedication
and support for K3-12th grade athletics!

The University Campus Back to School Night provided a wonderful opportunity for the parents to meet and connect with the 6th-12th grade teachers. We cherished the chance to host and certainly look forward to many more engaging events in the future!

ST. LUKE'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS NAMED TO THE PRESEASON WATCH LIST
The Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association (AHSVCA) announced its 2024-25 AHSVCA Preseason Student-Athletes to Watch List. This year's Watch List honors 227 student-athletes from high schools through the state. The Preseason Watch List sets the stage for the AHSVCA All-State and Player of the Year awards programs named later this fall.

The annual Media Guide is distributed and available at all fall and spring sporting events while supplies last. Payment and forms are due by August 23rd.

ST. LUKE'S ONLINE CAMPUS STORE
Show your Wildcat pride! The Spirit Store has a new storefront in Room 305 on the University Campus. Beginning Monday, August 26, hours will be M-F, 7:30 - 8:00 a.m., 3:15 - 3:45 p.m., and daily at break. For home football games, the store will open at 6:00 pm until kickoff.
We will be adding merchandise, so please fill out this suggestion form
to let us know what you would like to see for sale in the future.
All proceeds of the Online Campus Store go to school programs and supplies.
We will deliver purchases to your student unless you request to pick-up.

Youth Outing every Sunday at 11:15 a.m. (bowling, laser tag, mini golf, explore downtown, and more!)
Weekly Services:
