The Our Savior Paw Prints

The Campus Weekly / Volume XXI / Livermore, CA / Friday December 22, 2023

Dear Our Savior Lutheran Preschool and School Families,

The birth of Jesus reminds us of God's boundless love for each of us. In our shared mission to nurture the hearts and minds of our students, we are instruments of that love.

This Christmas, let us reflect on the extraordinary gift of Jesus and HIS profound impact on our lives. May we find moments of peace amidst the hustle and bustle and remember that HIS presence is the greatest present of all.

May Christmas's joy, peace, and love fill your hearts and homes. I look forward to the continued blessings the coming year will bring to our blessed school and ministry.

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

In His Grace,

Julie Knight

in-class competitions.

The 5th-8th grade finalists will compete in the Sanctuary on January 26th at 2:00 PM. Families are welcome to attend.

Starting in January, every third Tuesday at 7:00 PM, Our Savior will offer a Zoom parenting class led by Dr. Dave Rueter. On January 16, he will present material based on research by the Fuller Youth Institute on “Growing With” your children as you parent them toward maturity. “Discover strategies to help you invite doubt, rather than avoid it. 'Growing With' will show you how to help your kids keep their roots, even as they spread their wings.” Further details, including Zoom information, will soon follow.

On Friday, January 26 from 6:00-8:00 PM, gather the family and join us for a night of fun and games at the Our Savior gym. We will be playing simple games that all ages can jump into easily and engage with others from all parts of the Our Savior community. There will be a variety of games participants will rotate through to meet and connect with others. If you have a favorite game, you’d like to share, contact Dave Rueter. A pizza dinner will be available for sale to support the youth ministry program (details to come).
