Construction Update | 10-12-23

With the center lanes closed this past week and traffic running in the outside lanes, progress is being made on the center medians. The curb, gutter, and colored concrete are complete and the decorative concrete pavers are scheduled to be installed this week.

At the end of this week or early next week, the south lanes will be closed and traffic will be switched to run head-to-head in the north lanes. This will allow for the placement of the final asphalt in the south lanes, along with the permanent pavement markings. This traffic pattern is expected to be in effect for approximately one week.

When work is complete in the south lanes, the outside lanes will be closed and traffic will run in the inside lanes. This will be the final phase of work for this construction season and will allow for the completion of the concrete pavers adjacent to the sidewalk, grading, sodding, installation of streetlights, and installation of traffic signals.
