We have made it to the final week of school with just 4 more days to go! This newsletter will conclude our parent and student newsletters for this year. We will resume in August as we begin the 2024-2025 school year. It has been a great school year!

Instructional Updates

Spring Exams



Underclassmen exams are May 13th-15th. Please see the attached exam schedule below. Please remember, in order for a student to exempt the exam for a course, he/she must not exceed 10 unexcused absences for a yearlong course or exceed 5 unexcused absences for a semester course. The Head of School may excuse excessive absences for an extended illness with the proper documentation in which case the student may be allowed to exempt certain exams on a case by case basis. Absences for field trips, athletic contests, college days, or other school functions do not count toward the unexcused absence totals.

Bell Schedules

On Monday Upper School will operate on a Modified Bell Schedule. On Tuesday and Wednesday we will operate on an Exam Schedule. Please see the linked schedules below.

Athletic Updates

Softball

Our Middle School girls ended their season with an 18-7 win over Laurens Academy. They had a winning season led by an excellent coaching staff. The future is bright for Patriots Softball!

Our Varsity Lady Patriots finished their season with the SCISA State Tournament yesterday. We are so proud of our Patriots.

Summer Hours

Please note our summer hours below. The office will be closed July 2nd-4th in observance of the July 4th holiday!

Join Us for Summer Camps!

It is time to register for Summer Camps! Camps are $125/week, and Volleyball Clinics are $30/day. Cost includes camp supplies, t-shirt, and daily snack and drink. Join us for another summer filled with fun and learning as your child experiences programs designed by our best coaches and teachers.

Salkehatchie

JET Salkehatchie Camp is set for June 22nd-29th. Participants will be housed at Wardlaw Academy. The cost is $250, which goes towards building materials for the homes, food costs for the week, and various other things. Campers must be 14 years of age by June 21st. Please contact Jennifer Parker for more information.

Advance Wardlaw

As we continue to strive for excellence in education, we are excited to continue our Advance Wardlaw Fundraising Campaign. This campaign will fund special projects for several facility upgrades important for current and future operations of the school. These projects span all areas needed for educating students to meet our mission statement of partnering with parents to develop the intellectual, emotional, spiritual, physical, and leadership potential of each student.
