APPOINTMENTS
Very Reverend James B. Johnson to Pastor of St. John Paul II Catholic School, Lecanto. Relieved from Vicar Forane of the Northern Deanery, continuing all other assignments.

Reverend Sojan J. Punakkattu to Vicar Forane of the Northern Deanery, continuing all other assignments.

Reverend Anthony G. Coppola to Vicar Forane of the North Central Deanery, continuing all other assignments.

Upon presentation by Very Reverend Kevin Mullen, O.F.M., Provincial Minister, Franciscan Order of Friars Minor, Holy Name Province, Reverend Stephen E. Kluge, O.F.M. to Parochial Vicar of Sacred Heart Parish, Tampa, effective June 1, 2022.
 
RELIEVING

Pastoral Bulletin Summer Schedule
Beginning May 31, 2022 and throughout the summer months, the Pastoral Bulletin will be published every two weeks.

The summer schedule is as follows:
  • June 13, 27;
  • July 11, 25;
  • August 8 and 22.

The weekly schedule will resume on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Saint Leo Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies Appoints First Visiting Chair in Jewish Thought, Assistant Director
The Saint Leo University Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies (CCJS) announces the appointment of Rabbi David Maayan as the center’s inaugural Maureen and Douglas Cohn Visiting Chair in Jewish Thought and Assistant Director of CCJS. Rabbi Maayan
will join Saint Leo in August.
He has an interest and background in multiple religions including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam, although his work is focused on the interrelationship between Christianity and Judaism.
