Volunteer Request
We are happy to report that, over the last several months, we have making progress in making Catholic Services more available in our local jails. Services are expanding in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties to include outreach to women and Hispanic inmates, and to both high and medium security levels. We are working on getting underway in Pasco Country after months of administrative adjustments, and we continue to seek clergy (priest and deacons) and lay leaders to help with these services. Volunteers must live in the county where they wish to assist. Most services now take place on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons.

Pastors: If you or any of your parishioners have an interest in becoming a Prison Ministry volunteer, please email the Prison Ministry Office at prisonmn@dosp.org and one of our jail/prison liaisons will be in contact with you.
