National Eucharistic Congress

The 10th National Eucharistic Congress is an invitation to experience profound personal revival so we can be sent out to share Christ’s love with a world that so desperately needs it. This event is taking place July 17-21 in Indianapolis. While about 40,000 people will attend in person, most Catholics will participate from home. Here are some suggestions for engaging with the Congress remotely:

Watch the Livestream: ETWN, a major sponsor, will share which parts of the Congress they will livestream. Visit www.ewtn.com/eucharist/watch for updates and plan a “watch party.”

Attend Mass: Attend Mass daily at your parish in solidarity with the Congress.

Educational Video Series: Free videos in English and Spanish are available from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. To sign up for this service to access the videos, click here.

Special Holy Hour: Spend a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament, praying for the event’s success and a deepened love for the Eucharistic Lord. Resources are available by clicking here. In Spanish, click here.

Explore Resources: Check out documents and resources curated by the local Eucharistic Revival Team at the diocesan website by visiting: www.dosp.org/revival/resources

These activities can help you feel connected and spiritually engaged with the National Eucharistic Congress, even from afar.

For the Faithful Departed

Let us keep the souls and the families of the faithful departed in our prayers:

  • Sr. Rose Christina Momm, SNJM, former faculty member at Academy of the Holy Names High School, Tampa and founder of Tampa Crossroads, a rehabilitation program for formerly incarcerated men and women.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed

by the mercy of God, rest in peace!
