Water 4 Mercy – Luncheon 4 Tikkun Olam
Water 4 Mercy, a Clearwater-based nonprofit that brings clean, life-giving water and agricultural solutions to remote African villages, announces a fundraiser to increase awareness to their vital mission: To uphold human dignity by providing water, food and hope for Africa. The Luncheon 4 Tikkun Olam (Hebrew for ‘Repair the World’) will be hosted at Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater, on Friday, March 31, 2023, 12:00 –2:00 p.m., with Water 4 Mercy Founder & CEO Nermine Khouzam Rubin. Traditional Israeli dishes will be served in accordance to Lenten and Kosher dietary laws. Speakers include Most Reverend Gregory Parkes, Bishop of St. Petersburg, and Sivan Ya’ari, founder and CEO of the Israeli nongovernmental organization, Innovation Africa.
