VACAVILLE, Calif. – It is with deep sadness that the City of Vacaville Fire Department announces the tragic passing of one of our dedicated team members, Code Enforcement Technician Bryden Nadasdy, due to an off-duty accident.


The accident occurred in the late hours of July 12, 2024, on Vaca Valley Parkway west of Browns Valley Road. Details of the accident are currently being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.


Bryden Nadasdy was a dedicated member of our community, having served as a Code Enforcement Technician with the Fire Department since March 21, 2022. He served with the highest level of dedication and commitment, and his loss is deeply felt by the fire department, the City, and the community. He is survived by his mother and brother.


We extend our deepest sympathies to Bryden’s loved ones and join them in honoring his memory and contributions to the community. The City of Vacaville is providing support and counseling services to all employees affected by this loss.
