The City of Beachwood continued a deer management program in partnership with the City of Shaker Heights this past season. We donated 3,086 pounds of venison to the food bank providing approximately 12,000 meals to people in need. Based on parameters outlined in our Deer Management Plan, an important part of the program is to understand the reactions/concerns of our residents. To that end, we have developed a residential questionnaire and appreciate your time and feedback.

The deadline for completing this survey is July 15, 2024.

The discussion will be held under the pavilion inside the aquatic center at 25125 Fairmount Blvd. Beachwood residents are welcome to attend and share their thoughts. Join us for the second annual Juneteenth Community Celebration, presented in partnership with the Beachwood City School's African American Affinity Group, on Wednesday, June 19, from 4-7 p.m. in the aquatic center parking lot. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year promises to be even bigger and better. Enjoy family activities including a movie truck, a DJ, and over 60 vendors showcasing their unique goods. Food trucks will also be available. There’s something for everyone and all are welcome!
