Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

Tuesday, April 30th @6:30 pm

Please join us next Tuesday for an exciting joint venture between Pinecrest Elementary & Palmetto TV Production as we host “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” game show.  Selected participants from our very own WPEN Crew, Geography & History Bee clubs will go up against the Palmetto High School teachers as they battle head-to-head in trivia questions. Our kiddos will compete in round 1 of the game show, while round 2 will be Palmetto students competing against their teachers. This promises to be an exciting event for all. Please consider joining us at 6:30 PM next Tuesday, April 30^th in the Palmetto High School auditorium as we showcase how smart our 5^th graders are!

Safety Patrol Opportunity

Current 4th Graders will soon have the opportunity to apply to become a Safety Patrol for next year! The Safety Patrol Program at Pinecrest Elementary allows 5th grade students to play an important role in the safety, security and well being of the school. Check out this video so you and your child can learn more about the role of our Safety Patrols!

Additional information - including applications and qualifications - will be provided directly to your child by their 4th grade teacher.

The Florida PTA has recently updated its PTA Bylaws Forms for local units such as ours. We now have new bylaws and new standing rules aligned with Florida PTA's newly released bylaws form. Stay up to date with the changes in our PTA by clicking below.

*Standing rules are adopted by the Board of Directors. Changes to the bylaws are adopted by the general membership. If no changes are made to the bylaws, adoption is not needed.
