Love Education? We Need You!
Have you attended one of our Ahead of the Curve educational programs? Then you're aware that these opportunities offer intimate time with doctors and experts in the field of Parkinson's disease answering your questions on the topics you're interested in; and, often they also include a great meal or tasty refreshments.
We've been hearing from our community that you want us to offer more of these educational programs. And, for 2018 that's what we're planning; but we need help. The Parkinson Association is a small staff and we need volunteer support to
ensure we can offer these additional programs. Volunteers who help in this capacity would arrive early to help set-up the space, check-in attendees, make introductions of speakers and sponsors and clean-up following the program, approximately 4-5 hours of your time/program you volunteer for. And, you still get the benefit of the educational program. All programs would be in the Denver Metro area, and are hosted either during the weekday or in the evenings. Some programs may also require picking up pre-ordered meal/refreshments to be served.
Interested? Contact Madison Holland, Program Director, by email or (303) 830-1839.

Classes have moved from a fee based system to a 'Pay It Forward' system. We are able to provide the classes through the use of donations we receive from the generosity of our community.
Instructors are paid from the generous donations of our constituents and not from class fees. A letter will be sent out every two months summarizing total classes attended and with a reminder to help us 'Pay It Forward'. Donations will not be collected directly in class; please do not make direct donations to instructors at class. While we and the instructors appreciate your generosity, it makes tracking and honoring your donation more difficult.
