Effective September 4, student parking decals for vehicles that have been registered and the permit fee paid for, must be picked up at RAM Central located on West Campus. Decals will no longer be available for pick-up on East Campus.
RAM Central Hours:
Monday – Thursday | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
All vehicles driven on the ASU campuses must be registered with the University to include but not limited to those driven by faculty, staff, students, visitors and volunteers. The deadline to register your vehicle without penalty for this fiscal year was Monday, August 31, 2020. Decals are still available for purchase online. Vehicles without current decals will be ticketed. The fines will be placed on the student, faculty or staff’s Banner account. If appropriate, a hold will be placed on the account until the fine is paid. Please direct questions to the auxiliary services office at 229-500-2886 or to parkingservices@asurams.edu.
Student decals are to be placed on the inside, lower left windshield (driver’s side) of the vehicle. Failure to display the decal correctly will be cause for a citation.
Vehicle Registration Process for Students, Faculty and Staff
1. Register your vehicle online through Banner Web; click “log in to Secure Area.”
2. Go to the “Main Menu.”
3. Click on “ASU Auxiliary Services” which takes you to the Bosscars Vehicle Registration.
4. Complete the registration process and print the Temporary Permit Page.
5. Click on “Parking Home.”
6. Go to “Make Payment online.”
Make payment by debit/credit card, pay online via Banner Web or pay cash or check at Ram Central.
Remember that the registration will be held in Bosscars for five working days. On the sixth day, the registration will be null and void and you will need to register the vehicle again. There is a processing fee if paid with debit/credit card. There is no processing fee if you pay with electronic check. You must pay with debit/credit card if paying on-site at RAM Central.
7. Financial Aid funds will not pay for a parking permit even if sufficient funds are available on the account. When paying in the amount paid box, be sure the amount is $15 even if there is a balance remaining on the account.
