The Illinois Tollway is advising I-PASS customers to disregard texts being sent to their phones from “Illinois toll way” that detail a specific outstanding toll amount. If you receive a text and are unsure, please check your account online at www.illinoistollway.com or call their customer service center at 1-800-UC-IPASS (1-800-824-7277) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays.

I-PASS customers should delete any text that you receive stating an outstanding toll amount. The Tollway has been informed that this is a phishing scam claiming that recipients owe money for unpaid tolls.

If you receive a phishing text, please file a complaint at www.ic3.gov. That is a site dedicated to sharing information on Internet crimes across law enforcement agencies.

INTRODUCING THE TIGHTHEAD MUNDELEIN GRAND PRIX

The Mundelein Grand Prix, presented by Tighthead Brewing Company, is a professional and amateur bicycle race as part of the nationally renowned Chicago Grit race series. Races are held in a "criterium" format, meaning that racers will compete together on a short circuit racecourse in Downtown Mundelein and complete as many laps as possible within the allotted time. Once one race finishes, another begins shortly thereafter.

There will be almost nonstop racing from 10:20 AM to 8:00 PM. With tight turns and fast straightaways, races are always a thrilling spectacle! But this day is more than just about bike races: a beer garden, children's games, a community ride, live music, art activities, and more will make the Mundelein Grand Prix an event the whole community can enjoy.

• Time: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (pro races from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
• Location: Downtown Mundelein (Seymour Avenue, Hammond Street, Chicago Avenue, Archer Avenue, Division Street)
• Best Places to Watch: Start/Finish Line; Plaza Circle
• Cost: Free for spectators
• Parking: Metra Station Parking Lot. Overflow parking at Mundelein Shopping Center to the south of the racecourse (Morrison's Laundromat, Just for Fun Roller Rink). Please be courteous of our business neighbors and private parking lots.

Mark your calendar for the Cruisin with the Classics Car Show at Grand Dominion. This annual event is so much fun and supports the Fremont Township Food Pantry.
