The Solheim Cup is coming September 10 - 15 and we need your help to make it a success. This incredible event brings together players and fans from around the world, and it's happening right here in Prince William County! The Prince William Parks Foundation will be manning a concession stand and we need your help!

Build Week for the new playspace at Fairmont Park will take place October 23 - 26 and we need your help to complete the project! KABOOM!, AWS InCommunities and Prince William County Department of Parks & Recreation (“DPR”) invite you, your family and friends to help us build the new playspace during Build Week, October 23 - 26. Building an entire playground is no easy feat. It will take several days and over 100 volunteers to get the job done! Can we count on you?

Prince William County Leaders Break Ground on Featherstone Trail Project
On Friday, August 23 leaders from Prince William County gathered for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the construction of the new Featherstone National Wildlife Refuge Trail Segment coming to Woodbridge. The new pedestrian trail will be approximately one mile consisting of natural surface trails, wetland boardwalk and two pedestrian bridges that will traverse protected landscape inhabited by protected plant and animal species. The trail will become part of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail which stretches from the mouth of the Potomac River at the Chesapeake Bay to the Allegheny Highlands in Pennsylvania. Currently 20 miles of the PHNST extends through Prince William County.
